I can definitely help, just need to understand exactly what you need. From what I understood, you want to know what to cover on your proposal. Well, there are tons of different ways of writing a proposal. What I usually include is:

basic information (author information, client information, dates, etc)

description of the proposal (describing what the proposal will cover)

objective (this is what you want to achieve and broadly how)

justification (why is this important for the client)

activities and methodologies (describe the process and high level tasks)

success factors (what you need from the client to be successful)

restrictions (what you are not willing to do)

assumptions (things you are assuming as true)

exclusions (what is out of scope)

deliveries (what you will deliver at each phase)

budget (what you will do and at what price, or price/hour. also include how it will be paid and how much you will charge for anything extra)
milestones (dates based on your draft schedule)

This template usually worked very well and avoided lots of headaches.
Cheers,
